21st birthday gift ideas?

so my boyfriend and I have been dating for three years and he will be 21 on january. I know it's too early to think about it but I really would want to give him something special for his birthday because it will be the last birthday i'll celebrate it with him since we'll be ldr after graduation and it would take a long time before we see each other again :O I'm on a budget since I'm still a student haha.
any clever ideas or suggestions? :)

well you can never go wrong with sex haha (seriously, it is always a good gift)

you could get him some clothing he likes
if he likes starbucks or something, give him a gift card
a book he may like/has been wanting

While the idea above me are good, they're far too standard for the situation. I'd recommend something more personal. A shadow box could be nice with like your memories together. You can do something engraved/embroidered. I mean in if you're in the us and it's a big deal because of the drinking age you can definitely do like funny little like beer cozies or a personalized wine class of bottle holder. You're making it seem like a big deal, and I agree with the birthday sex, but do a nice physical gift

You're saying you and him are going ldr right? Give him something that he will remember when you two are apart. It could be as simple as a picture of you two or maybe even something that triggers an inside joke or a memory you two have shared.
