You aren't fat... If you're fat what the hell does that make me? *cries in corner wanting to vomit*
Anywhooo, don't lose weight for girls. Some actually prefer teddy bear type guys because they're comfier and they just prefer the look. Don't feel like you HAVE to lose weight, but if you are going to make sure you're doing it for yourself.
Time for me to get really hypocritical, stop skipping meals. Missing breakfast fucks up your metabolism and that's bad and can cause you to gain weight. But maybe start exercising a bit, but don't get carried away, girls aren't as shallow as guys seem to think.

A thousand thumbs up for the person above me. Nothing more to say, if you want to be this way or that way to please someone, you'll never be happy, cause you can't please everyone.

It doesn't sound like your that fat. skipping breakfast is actually one of the worst things you can do, it is called the most important meal of the day for a reason.

try to run a little more or jog a bike. it is getting colder in many places so try joining a gym. you will be able to run, bike , do some weight lifting (start small and work your way up) and possibly swim depending on the gym. they might even have someone there who can show you some exercises (sometimes they charge, sometimes not)

if i do like 20 minutes of walking everyday plus some pushup-pullup would it be good?

SethfromMI
November 15th, 2014, 11:05 PM
ummm...I mean you got to start somewhere. jogging is better than just walking, though walking is better than nothing (though you will want to work your way up past 20 minutes). pushups, situps, pullups, squats, there are a lot of different stuff you can do.

Skipping meals won't really help. Just eat lighter lower fat, lower sugar healthier diet overall. Eat single ingredient foods. The ingredient of a banana is a banana. The ingredients of a pop tart is sugar, starch and a chemical lab. By low fat, I mean cheese burgers. Good fats like in nuts are what you want. Good sugar like in fruit is what you want too. And get regular exercise.

As long as you are physically fit you don't easily get tired. Some push up will do.

Walking (real 'fast' walking) is a complete cardio exercise. It's better to walk at your max potential than to jog and struggle like mad when you do it. 20 is the minimum timescale for cardio, 30 to 45 everyday is better.
With that said, again do it if you want, not because you expect girls will not like your body.

if we walked "real fast" when it came for sports training, we would get an earful from the coach. they don't simply walk "real fast" in any sport. except maybe the old persons Olympics. It is a good starting point though

no, I did not say you were fat. I was giving advice if you wanted to be healthier, regardless of who you are or what shape you are in

look i know my shit ok? For some people (the overweight one specially) they can't run or get out of breath fast. Plus try to put on a 30 pounds bag and go on a walk. (30 pounds overweight people has to carry this burden everyday) and walking is a cardiovascular exercise, everything is as long as it increase your heart rate for a long period of time.

Im sure it's regarded as a weak lazy thing amongst the "no pain no gain","never enough" type of athlete, but you can lose weight by doing walk as a cardiovascular exercise.

don't skip meals! if you want to lose fat and want to have a healthy life, you could do some exercise. jog every morning, pushups, situps, etc. eat healthy foods and drink alot of water.
for eating routine, you must have a heavy breakfast, just a normal lunch and light dinner like oatmeal.
don't do it for other people. do it for yourself ;)

First thing I'd like to address is your in ability to properly use the word facetious, no problem. But I'm not sure what experience you have on this topic (and please don't see this as me picking a fight but your tone was definitely rude if nothing else) but if you eat more at the beginning of the day your body knows what it is getting itself into and can metabolize it better than eating a ton of carbs at night where the only chance your body really has to burn it off is while you sleep. And as some one who has struggled quite a bit with eating disorders, I know that if you don't eat your body is going to always want more in fear of starving again, but hey, I don't know what I'm talking about, do I?
Just a word of advice though, be a little nicer to people, you catch more flies with honey than you do vinegar.

The main advantage of big breakfasts is that your are less unlikely to eat too much at the other meals, and sure it's easier to burn off if it's at the beginning of the day. By skipping breakfast, you're more likely to stuff your face at lunch, which is the worst thing to do ever (never ever eat until you can't move, even if you ate only salad it's a BAD thing), you need to stop eating right before you feel full. So yes, even if you don't believe in the "don't skip meal" thing, no breakfast can makes you gain weight.

My first thought is switch up the food plan like has already been mentioned. I been told to eat a light to medium size breakfast cause it starts your body off burning calories right away. Eat less for dinner and eat dinner earlier when possible. After years of workouts for hockey and football honestly the last thing I want to do is lift weights at a gym. I find that walking fast and trying to increase intensity in everyday things helps me maintain weight best.

FYI from those numbers you don't seem fat to me at all. Keep you head up man.

If you're worried its the things you eat thats the problem then simply change what you eat, just search on the internet and you'll get a good idea of what is 'healthy', but basically less fatty and sugary shit- if thats the case. Bit of exercise would be good as well but again make sure you eat the right food to recoveer.

What you eat and how much you eat is a lot more important than when you eat.

Do what I do, eat a TON of protein, run three times a week for a half hour, lift twice a week and limit your carbs and NO JUNK during the week. On the weekend your allowed one cheat. I've gained 15 pounds of muscle and lost a good 7 pounds so far of weight and I can start to see my rib cage. Keep going man!

Renata_cmp

be careful, don't eat too much protein, the human body don't filter them very well, and it can cause SERIOUS kidneys injuries in the long run. The ideal quantity, supposing you're seriously working out (and finnished your puberty of course) is 1g of protein for 1kg of bodyweight.

Skipping meals is the worst way to try and lose weight. You need to maintain a healthy intake of sugar/calories/fats/etc and increase your activity. Instead of skipping breakfast, try going for an hour walk every day.

Think you've already gotten some really good advice. Just like to say, first be confident, and remember not all girls are shallow :) Second, have breakfast but keep it to lean protein (whole eggs are ok tho, because they have healthy fat) and maybe some veggies/fruit. Heard if you do that you feel full but your metabolism keeps going if you avoid toast, pancakes, etc. Second snack smart - things like yogurt, veggies with dip/hummus, cottage cheese, etc. are all good for you and don't mess up your metabolism. Third, if you can find a friend to train with - could be walks, sports, etc. Just start slow and build your stamina up. Good luck, and don't worry too much about your progress. If you keep it up, just be patient, your body will change :)

Never skip breakfast. Ur body needs it to get ur matabalism moving. That could cause to GAIN weight, I'm speaking from personal experience. Eat three balanced meals, if u snack avoid carbs, and exercise (walking helps a lot).

Man, what do you mean? You are not fat.
But anyway, skipping food is never a good option.
It's better just to eat 3 times a day, and in between, you can have like a fruit, watermelon, and stuff like that, bananas, you know.
I see people that have breakfast, lunch or dinner twice, i mean, wow.. once should just be fine.

AND, there are different type of boys for different types of girls... The same girl might like you, but she might not like me you know

AND, I normally see that girls preffer the inner part of a person.

What exactly is going on in your head right now lol
Have you ever seen someone without a six pack dating a girl?
You have.

If you want to lose weight, don't just approach it from the standpoint of getting a girl to like you lol
Do it to be healthy, feel awesome overall and boost your confidence

Since you're young, you don't have to worry about diet so much as just getting out there and exercising.* If you have a YMCA or similar around, somewhere you can access equipment, do that. If you don't, you can jog or cycle or jump rope, but having the equipment available is awesome

Find exercise you like. I used to think if I wanted to lose weight i had to jog. I fucking hated jogging, though, so i never worked out. I learned later that I really liked to cycle and play ultimate frisbee, so I spent all summer doing that no problem

Another thing that really helps is filling an iPod up with music or movies you like and using that while you exercise, takes your mind off of you pushing your body to its limits.

And trust me, any time I leave the gym now, I feel fucking awesome and am super positive about everything. There's a reason people like cross country runners get that "runner's high." You just have to get off your couch and get there. Your motivation to work out is only shit until you actually start doing it

*That being said, diet does help. Don't go crazy eating sugar and shit. Try eating eggs for breakfast, sandwich for lunch and fruit, etc. Stay away from chips and sugar and processed shit. Try studying a low carb diet on google
