View Full Version : Shoulder pain?

3 Days ago, my neck started hurting, the lower part right next to your shoulder. Then, it went to my right shoulder. The odd thing is, while I can still feel it most of the time(if I turn my head certain ways, etc) it becomes really painful once a day, then eases. When it does, I could be lying down not moving it'd still hurt.
I don't remember doing anything strain it and this has never happened before.
Any ideas?

I am not sure, I would go to get it checked out though regardless

^^ I agree with Seth.
You should get it checked out before anything could happen.

I'd say it was tight muscles, I'm the same throughout my body but the worst is shoulders, thighs, lower back. You could try massage or just put a hot water bottle on your shoulders and see if that eases the pain? Even a hot bath can help with the problem, if that's what it is. Could be your posture or the way you sit/lay or even bending over when you're sitting at a desk.Try keeping your shoulders rolled back because if you get into a habit of this the muscles should losen and you'll have a better posture as a whole.

Maybe you sprained the muscle around it? Or like MyOblivion said, tight muscles.

Yeah, just like Nikki has already said, massage it out. You might have been stressing or using your back a lot. I know my back hurts a lot due to my school bag, so I reckon it would be quite similar. It doesn't seem too major, just find out how to online and ask someone to help you out.
