Hi, are there any work out routines anyone could point out or share that improve strength but don't make you bulky. Also, I'm wondering how best to stay toned without reducing breast size. I prefer to be leaner but still want to keep my curves :)

Don't worry, gaining muscle is a very sloooow and very hard process, for guys and girls (specially girs around the upper body) you can do 40 push-ups a day, as well as 50 sit-ups and pull-ups, you'll never get bulky, it takes much MUCH more.
I think the best workout to you is daily cardio (20 to 40 minutes of walking, jogging, swimming) and clean eating. You'll stay lean and healthy, and if you want to add strenght try pushups and pullups (these two works on basically all the upper body muscles).

Stretch a lot too.
Core work is almost always good.
Daily cardio.
And squats. Always squats :P

I wouldn't recommend squats, it's a very popular exercise for some weird reasons, but it can be incredibly damaging to your back if you don't do them flawlessy, and i mean even if it's 90% perfect instead of 100%. Swimming will do as good as squats and it's a lot more gentle with your body.

Agreed. She could do bodyweight squats though if she doesn't have a spotter. Without proper form with your arched back, feet angled, and legs spread spread just beyond shoulder width while trying to come down deep enough without going over your knees is not something for beginners to do alone or without a personal trainer. Last thing you want to do is screw up your vertebrae or slip a disc in your spine. Wouldn't suggest compound free weight exercises like deadlifts either until you've been lifting for about 4 months.

You could really do weights training if you wanted. You wouldn't get huge like a guy because you don't have enough testosterone or HGH. So it'd tone you up, you'd put on muscle too, but nothing drastic that would make you look anything like a guy. Those muscly girls you see are like that because they take steroids which is basically a combination of artificial testosterone. And those muscly girls in the physique division have been doing weights for many many years.

A girl doing weights does give her sexy legs and a nice booty to do with :)

I second this. I run for at least 40 minutes a day, and do some pushups and stuff too. swimming also builds nice muscle tone too.

Even a guy will only get huge after decades of weight lifting anyway.

I was talking about fitness model size, not pro bodybuilders.. Average male weight lifter puts approximately 5kg to 8kg muscle a year. Unless she has a myostatin deficiency like weight lifter big rammy or has a testosterone/prohormone disorder, It's gonna be a long process....

i know what you're talking about, but i don't really put these guys in the "muscular"categorie. I guess i got so pissed of by people saying 'omg he's so muscular' while talking about a model so underweight you obviously see abs and muscles, as underdeveloped as they are.
