I think a lot of girls experiment with their sexuality this way or, if they really are straight, sometimes prefer to "practice" on a close friend than their boyfriend at first. It's actually not that uncommon to hear about straight girls teaching their friends how to properly kiss for the first time and stuff.

This is very normal, whether you've done it or you haven't. Everyone's circumstances are different, and we all have different comfort levels and curiosities.
