For anyone who does anal sex, really hoping you can help clear up a few things for me:
1) Is there a risk of anal sex weakening your anal muscles
2) Does it matter what kind of lube you use
3) What do you to make sure things don't get messy
4) Excluding STIs, is there any health issue if the guys cums inside you
One of the questions could lead to tips, so I have removed it~ ImagineRepublicCity

1. Weakening, not really. You may stay "loose" for a little bit (30 minutes or so) afterwards, but it won't be an open hole. Mainly like things can go in easier without the first "initial" pain. I've never experienced or heard of it weakening the muscles.
2. It can yes. Oil based lubes (Vaseline, baby oil etc.) are usually not recommended due to the longevity of the lube inside of you. They can harbor bacteria, and are generally not as slippery, and hence can make tears easier. Water based lubes are great due to their slippery nature (KY, Astroglide (my favorite)) but can dry you out some. Also, the main ingredient (glycerin) can cause some discomfort/irritation. (I love using just pure glycerin, since it feels like it gets warm inside, but only small amounts, and never inside my vagina) Silicon based lubes last long, are slippery, are harder to clean (and stain more, and cannot be used with silicon toys) and are more expensive. On the other hand, they don't need to be applied as often (they last longer than water lubes which need either more lube, or spit/water to help wake it up). Some people are allergic to silicon, and truthfully I wouldn't recommend it for anal due to its tougher than normal cleaning.
3. A bowel movement before hand, and usually an enema. When it comes to the butt, a little extra time and "discomfort" at the start, means a lot more fun and cleanliness later.
4. Just don't wipe back to front if it is dripping or coming out. No major health issues, however it may last for several hours inside, so keep that in mind. Also, if you happen to have...multiple...sessions, it may make your stomach a little weird (I'm talking like 6+ times inside in a row)

1) Is there a risk of anal sex weakening your anal muscles. Yes I think there are. But I also think youd have to do anal for living, to end up with damaged anal muscles.
2) Does it matter what kind of lube you use. Yes. Some cremes which arent meant for it, burns....
3) What do you to make sure things don't get messy. I clean out before.
4) Excluding STIs, is there any health issue if the guys cums inside you. Not sure.

You can certainly get hemorrhoids, and may even prolapse if you aren't careful and relaxed.
3) Does it matter what kind of lube you use
I would not recommend using Vaseline, or any barriers- they'll trap in bacteria, and be hellish to clean...
4) What do you to make sure things don't get messy
Honestly, I'd recommend doing it in the shower anyways. But that's just me.
5) Excluding STIs, is there any health issue if the guys cums inside you
Not that I'm aware of.
