I am a 18 year old, bisexual college student. About four months ago, I met this guy online, and slowly began to get to know him better. We live thousands of miles apart. Over the course of two months, our friend ship escalated to the point where we were jokingly flirting with each other. And then the flirting became serious. Whilst one of these spouts of flirting, he said "I love you", and the feeling I felt was indescribable. Naturally, I said "I love you" back. From there, we continued talking, and dropping those three words all the time, and we both felt good about it. One day, I pretty much told him that I wish he was my boyfriend, but I didn't think a long distance relationship would be good. We skyped for the first time about a month ago, and a few days after that, he asked me out...
There are a bunch of other... complications... to this story, but I'm keeping it simple. I was just curious as to other people's thoughts and feelings about having a long distance relationship with somebody thousands of miles apart, and who I have never met in real life.

well here is the thing.
on the one hand love knows no bounds. if two people are truly in love, distance wont matter.
that being said, long distance relationships can be so hard and stressful. maybe more s since you two never met. obviously if you two go forward you will have to discuss boundaries , expectations, whatever. also you should ask yourself if the two of you actually have a good chance at meeting in real life
