Fashion Tips?

Okay, so I have no clue about Fashion at all, yet I just got hired at Aeropostale! I seriously need a fashion dictionary! Can people write down different fashion terms and their meanings please?! And also please tell me how I can match clothes by style, colors, and patterns! I am super hopeless when it comes to fashion! :P

Congrats on your new job! I would suggest getting familiar with the different type of jean styles (bootleg, boyfriend, skinny, high-waisted, etc.). I'm sure you probably already know these, but some clothing items you should know are jogger pants, skater skirts, circle skirts, pencil skirts, crop tops (pretty obvious one there), cardigans, combat boots, flannels, cut-off shorts, pullovers, and others. What are circle skirts? What are crop tops? What are cardigans? What are cut-off shorts?

Circle skirts are just skater skirts (not sure why I listed it twice) which are skirts that are flared. Crop tops are tops that are a bit shorter so they expose the middrift and can end at somewhere between the belly button and right under the bust. Cardigans are sweaters that are collarless and are separated at the front (like it can be buttoned up if there are buttons). Cut-off shorts are shorts that do not have a hem and have a ripped look to the end. Usually they are quite short and sometimes expose a bit of the butt.

I literally have never asked anyone at a store what would work together, I mean maybe someone shopping for their kids might, but basically if you can fold a sweater you'll be fine. Don't over think it, and learn how to read numbers for jean sizes. Styles are usually self explanatory but feel free to look at a little chart online to figure it out at first. Have fun making some baby bank haha
