I get this all the time whenever i say im gender fluid ir questioning online.... every9ne always assumes youre a gentic female.. why?

I don't know. Perhaps your demeanor, or the things you say. People always assume I'm a boy, regardless of whether I say anything about my gender identity.

well since you say your name is James I would automatically assume you are indeed a boy. maybe it is how you act online? I am sorry I really don't have a good answer, I don't try to make these assumptions.

I ALWAYS ALWAYS get mistaken as a boy (good!), so much so that I'm legitimately shocked when someone addresses me with female pronouns (unless it's someone who knows me well/IRL)

In fact, a lot of people tend to be shocked to learn that I'm biologically female ("Ren is a GIRL?!") on here, I've found :P

Though, to be fair, I had a male symbol next to my name on here for quite some time, and I crossdress or am makeupless in much of my photos. AND I have short hair.

So yeah, I really don't know. Like others have said, must be the way you present yourself. Nothing wrong with that, imo.
