Is there a way possible to download songs on your laptop without using iTunes and putting them into iTunes and transferring them to your phone? Tried a few weeks ago but had no luck.

I haven't tried because I use iTunes, but if you use another syncing program it might work.

I mean like, downloading them directly to your music folder and importing them from there to iTunes, when I first got my iPhone someone had songs already in there iTunes and let me put them on my phone but they hadn't been downloaded from iTunes, only imported.

Just drag and drop the file into your iTunes library, works for me all of the time.

They make it like that so if you want music you HAVE to buy it from them, but there is ways around it.

...I think every human on the face of the earth is aware of how that works...damn capitalism.

b/c I download free music instead of buying it from the iTunes store, I just drag it straight onto the itunes icon and it automatically adds it to the library.
I'm on a Mac so I don't know if this would work on Windows.

Can we keep this on topic and stop arguing about other things. I've deleted your posts.
