Lately I have been having a lot of issues with stress and around a week ago I purchased some cigars which I smoked with a friend. I told myself that that would be my first and last time smoking. I hated it but for some reason I want to smoke more? They really helped relieve my stress are there any alternatives? I've considered stealing some of my stepdads e liquid with nicotine in to put in my shisha pen but I don't want to resort to stealing. Any advice?

How... Releive stress? that's a myth.
The only way nicotine releases stress is if you're already addicted. Then it'll releive the stress caused by the nicotine addiction itself.
Just stop, is my advice tbh. It's expensive and brings you nothing but addiction and disease.

Simple, DONT, DO, IT, ITS, RETARDED. Simple.
Why would anyone, knowingly do something!, that they know will create an extremely damaging, very hard to break, lifelong addiction. When there are so many other ways of releasing stress. Humans are dumb.

I think he's talking about the buzz he got from the cigarette. They do give you a buzz, but after smoking them for a while you don't really feel it anymore, or it's nowhere near as strong. Catching a buzz is usually pretty stress relieving in my experience.
This is all the more reason not to start smoking though. That good feeling will go away pretty soon, instead it will just relieve your fiending urges to smoke, until you want another. Then it sucks, and you'll wish you never started in the first place. Please listen to everybody, and stop.

I personally use a vape pen to help with moments like that. They are relatively cheap and I use 0mg. Which means no nicotine in it. I really like it and learning smoke tricks is fun too. Please don't resort to smoking. I have a friend that this happened to and he is trying hard to quit. It's not as easy as it seems. While a cigar here and there is OK, I personally suggest an alternative.

I don't recommend you smoke, obviously, but I suppose it's pointless to lecture as I know it's probably not gonna change anything, and I'd be a hypocrite to do so anyway.
Try to keep it to a minimum if you're gonna continue smoking. I guess of all the things you could be smoking, cigars aren't the worst possibility.

I would get some gum and start to chew it whenever you feel anxious or you want to smoke. Another tip for you, I would get some candy suckers or something. The fact you have to resort to stealing with this habit should tell you to stop and stay away from it. In the future, stay away from drugs. You will not be able to hook yourself out of them. Just trouble waiting to happen. I wish you luck though.

another method, when you have much stress or some unhappy things,
you'd better do some sports,
though you don't want to move that moment.

I like cigars so I understand why you want to smoke them. But I dont understand why if you dont like them.
These are stressfull time. No denying. And everybody needs some comfort during day and night. But dont choose something you dislike. I can only think it would add some more stress.
Find something you really enjoy. Do that. It doesnt have to be something to drink, eat or smoke. Just something which make you feel happy and relaxed. Sports, massages, swimming... I listen to a lot of music. The right kind of music can make you feel ecstatic. Talk to friends or family. What makes you feel great

Okay, I smoked for years, what Mike ( ImCoolBeans ) said is true, you may get a buzz from it now and it may relieve your stress but if you make it a habit, it'll get weaker and eventually just stop. It makes you age prematurely, it gives you nothing but disease ( lung problems, vocal cord problems believe it or not among other things ) It costs ALOT to smoke, and honestly, IT'S NOT WORTH IT ! DO NOT SMOKE ! You'll have enough tar in your lungs to yak up a highway if you do.

Smoking is not a good decision to make. It's going to lead to a lot of trouble in the future. If you want to smoke to relieve stress, then try some other things to relieve stress that are healthy. Try meditating or yoga or something, and if that's not something you're interested, just find other things that can help relieve your stress.

I smoke a few cigarettes a week, and it does help me with stress. But, in every other aspect, it makes me feel worse.
So, kind of a pointless way to relieve stress. I find anime does a much better job.

It does relieve stess from the start... but honestly just stopping rarely works... if you start then just take it down a notch... less an less... Iv quit like 3 times... now Im taking it down slowly and dont crave as much as i used to.. only thing that works really... but please quit during a stress free time... like a holiday or something.. goodluck :)... and pls people who dont smoke dont reply because honestly you dont know what your talking about..

Nope. Don't take up smoking. Honestly, it's useless. Marijuana and that, it may have a purpose (feel good) but cigarettes and cigars are useless. So your best bet is to do something natural. Yoga, talking to someone, these all work well and have no harmful side effects.

If you start smoking it will lead to another smoke and then become a bad habit. Save yourself while you can. Find a hobby to keep you occupied? I went to a body museum and one cig can subtract around 3 hours and 45 minutes of your life. Not sure if it's BS but I believe it's true.

Unbelievable.
First of all, cigarettes DO NOT relieve stress. Its a myth i really hate. There are so many other ways to relax, cigarettes arent even worth it. Im addicted to em, but I never tried really hard to stop. But seriously, do not smoke, Its really, really bad for your health.
Do anything else but cigarettes or weed/other drugs/alcohol to relieve everyday stress...
