It's annoying. I have to get up at 6:30am for school and everyone is making noise till 2-3am. My dad watches T.V. till 2-3 am every night and you can here it throughout the whole house. My sister is a straight A student who works all hours of the night on homework. In turn she blasts her music in her room all night. I would love to fall asleep at 11pm but no one in the house will lower anything. Anybody else experience this.

I used to experience the same thing. My mom was usually up blasting loud movies and music at 4am. After a while I got used to it and slept right through it.

I have next door neighbors in the house across from mine. They have a two story house and their living room is on the second floor, it is right across from my bedroom window. They always watch wrestling and action movies and never close their drapes so the light reflects and the sound echoes. So annoying and it gets on my nerves. Just learned to live with it. I just put my headphones on to distract the noise and around 2 am they cut their shit off. They do this on school nights too. I learned to adapt my sleep schedule because of it.

That's living in the city though. People are rude and don't care. :(

If you can't sleep because there's too much noise then get some ear plugs or something like that to block out the sound. If you're unable to sleep because of all the different noises combined then try headphones and play some of your own music. That tends to help me sleep and at least then it's just one sound that you can focus on instead of loads of different noises.

I have a white noise machine that drowns out most outside noise

maybe earplugs usually hardware stores sell them I guess - our house is quite noisy as I have 3 brothers.

That sucks man. I'd suggest either talking to your family, explain the situation and see if they turn all their noise down or go the earplug route if you can't get them to listen. Good luck

bummer. try getting an ear plug. a fan or white noise thing can help block out some of that noise. if you have to start hitting people in the backside of their head. or wake up very early and make noise when they are sleeping to give them a taste of their own medicine (the last two you should only do if you feel like being really mean or really frustrated)
