I'm a pretty big Binge Drinker. I kinda go through my week of college and placement and on Saturday providing that my friends are also going out we will get absolutely smashed. Generally drinking about half a bottle of Vodka + shots of schnaps / jager and then spend another £20-40 out in the town and in the club.
What I was wondering is how negatively is this effecting my health. I've started having horrible times when hungover where my chest tightens up and I've had to use an inhaler to relive it ( not sure if its a chest infection, asthma or something else ) but I was wondering how much longer i can go about doing this before it gets the better of me.

You're from Scotland, its what we do best! I drink too much as well, enjoy yourself while young and don't take it too over the top to the point and you will be fine. Just keep exercising regularly.

You ever wonder why people who drink lots of beer have big bellies? It's not because they're fat...

It's the damage they're doing to their liver.
You should defintely cut down your drinking, this can be really bad for your health. More info here: http://www.merckmanuals.com/professional/hepatic_and_biliary_disorders/alcoholic_liver_disease/alcoholic_liver_disease.html and also a simpler text here: http://www.healingedge.net/store/article_fatty_liver.html. This site has quite a bit to talk about healthy drinking: http://www.patient.co.uk/health/alcohol-and-liver-disease
Also, unlike what Gbow said, liver damage is not going to be cured by trying to exercise.

I've drank regularly for nearly four years now, and I can tell you for a fact that binge drinking leads to becoming an alcoholic. As for trouble breathing, I've recently began to experience this as well, after I've gone on a long drinking binge.
From what I've looked up, it could be due to alcoholic lung disease, alcohol withdrawal, among other things. Alcohol does a lot of internal damage, and not just to your liver, but your stomach, kidneys, and apparently lungs as well ( which not even I knew ).
There's nothing wrong with going out on the weekends, but overdoing it every time you do, is a problem. You have to learn how to control yourself. Know your limitations.
Going out on the weekends and drinking is about having fun, right? Well, what fun is it if you're unconscious for half of it?
The solution to your problem is to not get fucked up every time you drink. Have some self-control.

Just like my father, he suffers from some unhealthy issues, but he still drinks. Consult with your doctor to give you some advice, you too young to get sick because of alcohol
