I'm having practically every symptom of diabetes. I'm not overweight, I'm actually pretty thin and I eat a lot of candy and don't gain weight. In fact months ago I went to the hospital and they tested me for diabetes because my blood sugar was high and there was sugar in my urine, but they said I wasn't diabetic. I was suprised because I've been having many signs of diabetes like: tingling in my hands and feet, increased hunger and increased thrist. By the way I don't drink enough water, could I just be dehydrated and eating too much sugar? Man I'm scared, please reply!! :(

Calm down! If you do have diabetes it'll be treated and you'll be okay! The doctors are probably right, but I'd get tested again to be sure. Drink more water first and then see how you feel! Diabetes are hardly ever deadly and are just something that many people have to deal with. Remember you're not the only person in the world with it! (if you even are diabetic I'm saying)

^ exactly. it is always a good ideal to drink more water and eat less sugar (well more processed sugar than anything) that is called being healthy. but you can always get tested again if you feel you need to

Not to scare you, but you might be pre-diabetic because you're experiencing early symptoms of type 2 diabetes. Like MadelineMini said drink more water and if it doesn't work see a doctor! My mom has diabetes and she lives a normal life with them, if you get diagnosed you can talk to me I understand what you might be going through!

Thanks for all of the replies! My mom is afraid I have diabetes too (she didn't tell me but I know) It's friggin' creeping me out! I'll probably be scared for a while but I'm sure I'll be fine. Hopefully I won't get diagnosed.

You eat too much shit and don't drink enough water, simple. My brother is diabetic, trust me, if your become diabetic and don't get treatment, you'll know about it, and fast.

The best thing for you to do right now is take care of your diet.

I am sure the health care in Germany is very good and you can get tested again.

Pretty much what everyone has said and also, people normally get diagnosed later in life (though the age bracket for Type 2 is getting lower and lower)

You might be looked for symptoms which aren't there and so, you think you can feel them. That's what happens with scientists sometimes, they try look for results which aren't there, so anything and they'll be like "Yup, I was right."

But yeah, eat less processed sugar, it'll help, really.
