I'm so glad this has happened. Arresting officers showed Great restraint when arresting him. Better than I would have for sure.

More restraint than you would have shown? So, because it was a cop you care more? (Not starting another shit hurling march, just your wording made it sound that way)
Glad that he was arrested, as far as I'm concerned murderers should serve life, and not that the cost in the UK see as life (over here, life means 25 years, what the fuck, they should be there till they die). But I don't see how the fact it was a cop that was killed makes this any more important, many killers are arrested and no mentionnos made. It confused me that people care more when its an officer. Yes, its a tragedy, horrible, but Why do people care more? I honestly don't understand.

I agree with CosmicNoodle it is a tragedy when anyone dies but why do other people's lives rank above a civilians life I'm also just gonna say I think he meant if he was a cop arresting a man that murdered other cops (possibly friends) he would show less restraint

Honestly I care more when it's a cop because of a"A: the way they chose to live their lives and B: it's personal cause of my family.
Law enforcement is a brother hood so losing a brother means more that a civilian. Now that doesn't mean officers won't sacrifice themselves for others. There still and unspoken rule called priority of life. It means save civilians first, then cops, then suspects.
And when I say more restraint then me I mean that I would have killed that guy.

Oh I understand you meant you would kill him and I'm sorry for getting off topic but why do celebrities also get higher rank too, okay for example:
A bus crashes 12 people die 1 is a widely known actress the news will read out
"Today a bus crashed (somewhere) killing 12 passengers, among the deceased is (actress) we will keep you posted with updates"
They never read the civilians names because they don't care and neither do most of the viewers
Our planet is screwed if we care more about 1 dead celebrity over 11 dead civilians

It seems like from the new reports the police were deliberate targets just picked at random because they were cops. I can understand how you feel.

Could we please not make take these discussions on a personal level and especially not insult one another? I deleted those posts and locked the thread; further similar behavior may not be taken as lightly.
