I get in trouble a lot with my mom. I'm beginning to think that my 11 yr old sis is her favorite child because she NEVER gets in trouble (I'm not exaggerating!) I get more and more depressed every time my mom gets mad at me. How do I get along with my mom? I'm tired of this crap... :(

Try getting along with your mother and tell her how you feel, if you're getting depressed you've got to tell someone! It could lead to suicide. (suicide is never the answer)

If she's the baby, it's probably why. It's stupid, but the baby usually gets their way, and isn't treated with as much strictness as the older child, which sometimes makes the older child feel left out. (I...Was never the baby. I was the redheaded stepchild, somewhat ironically. [My older sister is a natural redhead and is actually my father's stepchild. Go figure. She's also the sweetest person you'll ever meet, and was like...The ideal child, to add insult to injury.])
On the one hand, you might try to open up communication between your mom and you, tell her how you feel. If that doesn't work, sadly you might just have to live with it.

I don't know your whole situation, but I don't think it is as worse as you are making it seem. They do tend to connect and show more attention to the younger ones more, that I do agree with. However, I don't think you are less favorable than her. She loves both of you equally, and because you are older, she just expects more out of you and wants you to mature a bit. Try to take what she says in stride. If she asks you to do something, do it. Don't be rude or talk back to her. It is her house and you need to obey her. Talk to her if you are having an issue. You are her daughter and she loves you. :)
