My boyfriend was actually more into me than I was into him, when we dated. I was the one that made the first move, though. He was really shy, but it was obvious that he liked me back.
We dated for about a year. We did not see each other much, just once when we actually met and started dating. We live far, in two different countries, and it was hard to keep a relationship going. We eventually broke up (it wasn't an "official break up" we just stopped talking to each other for a long time).
When we lastly spoke, I mentioned that maybe we should get back together and see if it works out. He was really unsure. I could see that he wasn't against it, but he did not want to either... So we just changed the topic.
Is it possible that he just lost interest? He seemed so in love though. Is there any way to bring it back? Because I know that the long-distance thing is just an excuse. (He said something about "getting back together not making sense cause we live too far from each other" And that's not a reason to me!)
We are meeting up soon though - like this weekend (after two years!) But it's not sure yet. I'm freaking out haha. :P
So what do you think? Did he just loose interest?

possible. I mean, it has been 2 years. that is a very, very long time to expect someone not to date anyone in person. you can try of course, but it is unfair to expect someone to keep a relationship like that for so long without seeing each other

It's been a while since you've seen him, it might have been awkward talking with you again after all that time. But it sounds like he's still interested to me.

If u ask me I personally feel that LDR don't work our most of the time. Consider this, ur bf lives in a different country from you and you guys don't spend a lot of time together and even "broke up" as a matter of fact. If u put urself in his shoes, don't you think that he will feel insecure about whether the relationship would work out? This is a point you should consider and think through before the 2 of you get back together imo

Just see how things go. Don't try to force anything, relationships should come natural. Long distance relationships require patience though. If you do end up back together, just understand that. Make the relationship last and keep in mind of the whole situation. Again, just let it go naturally and let the events happen the way they do.
