Basically, there's this guy in one of my classes, and I think he's pretty great, but only in a friendly way. I'm pretty sure he wants to be more than friends with me, seeing as he keeps attempting to make any of our conversations kind of flirty and sexual. I want to be his friend, since we'll be in the same class for the next two years, but I also want him to stop hitting on me, preferably without hurting his feelings. I'd really like some suggestions on how to keep him as a friend, if that's okay? Because currently I'm feeling a little uncomfortable with the situation..

ask him how much he respects you and values your friendship, and once he answers that then kindly let him know that you are feeling uncomfortable with his flirtations and would like to keep things platonic between you right now. thats the kindest way i can think of putting it to him softly.
