Hey everyone,
So My TV of the last 9 years finally died on me, so I was allowed to get a new one. Got a Samsung 46" 7150 and a samsung hw-hm450 soundbar. (yay wireless but...maybe not yay...)
The apps on the tv work fine, and I didn't notice any audio cutting in an out for any of the apps (I didn't have 3d on, but spent a few hours with Netflix just fine. The TV is "Soundconnect" to the soundbar)
So while watching Despicable me, (and no have Avatar on in the background) I notice the sound cutting in an out. I'm using a ps3 as the 3d-blu player, and those are the only movies I have that are 3d. (wanted to make sure it all worked first ya know?)
It cuts out / gets spotty at seemingly random times. Sometimes it works fine, but sometimes its choppy. I have the ps3 connected with an hdmi cable. I have it set to put out 2ch pcm. I picked up a new hdmi cable at Wally world and it is rated for 3d (the other one I got at best buy was rated 3d too, but with 4gb less data speed) I didn't feel like spending $50 on a monster cable.
Do you think its just the ps3 that can't handle it? Could it be the hdmi wire? God could it even be the tv?!
Any advice is appreciated.
