Me and my girlfriend are in a long distance relationship at the moment. she is in love with one direction and when she brings them up i get jealous. She says things like " i love them so much. you have NO IDEA!" and she said she gets a knot in her throat when listening and singing to their songs. and i don't know it just bothers me. I know she could never be with one of them but what if she could? would she leave me? that's the kind of thoughts that i get. Am i the only one who gets jealous over things like this? Am i over reacting? I know again she would never be with them but still, i get jealous and a little upset about it.

yes, you are over reacting and if you let something that trivial bother you, then maybe you need to re-evaluate yourself and let it go. if you are this jealous over her celebrity crush, imagine if she had male friends, and i am sure she does. do you have trust issues? as i have said, i think you need to take another look at yourself and ask yourself some key questions before you commit to any relationship. your jealousy can only lead to problems down the road. good luck.

No i do trust her, and i am going to use your advice and just re think my thoughts and re-evaluate myself. its just that im scared to lose her. thank you for your response. think it helped. maybe i just needed a wake up call. thank you.
