I've been suspended from school 3 times and was just wondering if anyone else ever got suspended

I had an in-school suspension once when I was in 4th grade. It's basically just you, and a few other kids who have been suspended, in a tiny classroom for the whole day with a substitute teacher. You just do the work you're assigned by your teacher, but just not in a full classroom with the people you see everyday. In-school suspension is just for something minor, that doesn't warrant a full blown suspension that keeps you off school property.
I actually enjoyed it. It was quiet, and I got a lot more done. I preferred it over being in classroom full of kids, but then again I've always had social anxiety, so...

I was discussing this on the boards before, saying this principle which says that if you just let them do it and let it go it will stop is wrong. If you don't defend yourself in a way or another and remain passive, they won't stop.

My suspensions:
1. After two boys told me that I was stupid and ugly in the computer lab, I threatened to hurt them with a knife. (Two days, out of school, Magistrate, community service.)
2. Someone called me an anorexic gummy bear, I told them it's better than being a fatass like her. (One day, out of school.)
3. Someone ripped my homework in half when the teacher wasn't looking. Teacher yelled at me for being disrespectful to trees. (Two days, out of school.)

Yes in the sixth grade. I was kinda framed though. Me and some friends before class started in the morning, we went to the liquor store adjacent to the school and bought some noise makers that you can throw at people and they kinda hurt if it lands on someone's leg or arm. Anyways, I was reluctant to agree to this prank and I told them that I wanted nothing to do with it. So when lunch break came, I always go and hang out with my friends and sure enough, they pull out those damn noisemakers and start throwing them at people.

Long story short, the principal is called and since I'm always hanging out with them, I was guilty by association and was suspended for a week from school. The following week we were in isolation detention all day each day and I still get mad over it. Moral of the story, don't hang around bad influences because you are just as bad for being with them.

I meant thing as in a trend sense, but I should have made myself clearer. They do have suspensions, but before those they usually invite the parents for a discussion many times. What we don't have is detention. Suspensions aren't that common, but occasionally they happen.

I wish I could go to a school that didn't have detention. I've had detention and believe me, it sucks.

I never get suspended, I'm to intelligent for that, when I want to fuck shit up I do it in a way that doesn't lead to me. I never make a big show of things in front of witnesses. When I get angry at people or the school I fuck them up in ways that can't be traced. And because I always seemed so nice, no one ever suspected me.

The worst thing I ever got was a detention, and that was only because someone tried to beat me up and I accidentally gave him a bloody nose....to be fair his face was simply in the way of my fist. :P

In middle school some kid was getting in a verbal fight with my friend and I said he either stops or he's going to need to wash the blood out of his shirt... Long story short he ended up with a bloody nose... Got suspended a few days for that.

Basically this one guy spent a month annoying me calling me names and he eventually hit me because I kept doing better than him in class as he was kind of a dick and one day he said "why you gotta keep showing me up like that" I said "I won't act stupid just to make you look better" he took that in a bad way went to hit me and i may have punched his face and gotten suspended

I ALWAYS stick to my opinion, and i get into heaps of arguements with teachers and im very sassy and witty, but here in nz you get "stepped" instead; there are 7 "steps" when you get to 7 your expelled so. yay me step 6 :yeah:...
