I have phismosis and I would like to have a sexually active life but I'm not sure if I should mention to my parents or a doctor about this as I am only 14 years old
So my question is should I?

Has your doctor treated your phimosis?

umm try talking to your dad. you don't even need to use much detail. just say it is about that area and you think you need a doctor. I am guessing he prob wont pry about too many questions.

Well that's not going to get it fixed that way needless to say. As far as sex goes, I believe I've heard it can be very painful with phimosis, because when you penetrate, it forces your foreskin to retract.

Yes that's basically the point I probably won't have sex for another few years but if the opportunity presented itself I would at least like to be able to partake

Definitely go to a doctor for it. You're too young to make an appointment yourself aren't you? I suppose you could try, I managed to get an appointment by myself when I was 15 for mental issues (not related).

get your dad to help you make a doctors appointment otherwise live with the problem. that is really your only two options

Well you also need to be able to retract your foreskin to clean your penis properly. Also masturbation is much more enjoyable when you can slide your foreskin all the way down and back up. The older you get, the more difficult it may be to get your phimosis treated. All you have to do is tell the doctor you can't pull your foreskin back to clean your penis properly and he will give you a special cream to fix the problem.
