So i saw this movie some times ago in summer, and im quite shocked by the not so great reception it had (in box office terms, not critical)...
I mean to me, this is a freakin' Fantastic movie, my second very best experience i ever had in theaters (my first best being Dark Knight Rises), i mean without going into too much details, it's as perfect as a sequel can get, it's bigger and more epic than it's predecessor, the characters grew up, it's emotional (i cried like 3 times :p) the music an scale are mind-blowing...
To me it can be this generation's Lion King, and honestly, it's better than Frozen.(don't kill me, that's my opinion :p)
What do you guys think of it? :) BTW if you have the chance to see it in 3D, go for it, i usually don't care about 3D but this one is truly the best 3D i've ever seen, better than the Hobbit, better than Avatar.

I agree, it was awesome. For some reason a lot of people didn't like it.

Agreed!! Love the movie so much, Hiccup was hot (for a cartoon character) and toothless was the cutest thing ever, the perfect alpha dragon! I cried when his dad...yeah. At least it ended happily.

I watched it as well and really liked it! Great stuff, not only for kids.

The first film is my favorite animation movie and I'm curious to see the second one. I also like the TV series very much.

I saw the first one and a little bit of the second one and from what I did see of the second one, it was wonderful. I can't wait to see it all :3

I'm hoping to see this soon. I didn't get to it in theaters this summer, as I had other must-sees in mind. However, I'm surprised it did worse than the first in terms of box office. Many box office analysts predicted a higher opening weekend take and a lengthier run in theaters, as did I. Some attributed the weaker reception to the movie comprising mostly of serious-action elements than comedic elements, which families would gravitate more towards. As I haven't seen the sequel yet, I can't attest to this, but the trailers did give that idea.

Now I did watch all of it and I must say it takes things to a new level, it's much more epic and while the first film was all about training, the second one is more about discovery and war. To make an LOTR analogy, the first was the Fellowship and the second The Return. If you liked the first, this is a must see.
