didn't see a thread so I made one. who's playing and how do you think it compares with 2 and 1?
I will say, I'm really liking the noticeably higher drop rate on legendary weapons compared with the other two games...it's still a decent challenge to find good loot but not ridiculously hard this time, which is great. also gotta say I hated the slag mechanic in Borderlands 2...it was a really cumbersome method of balancing the combat (slag is mandatory if you want to do any damage at all in Ultimate mode). the ice element is much better in every way which means you can actually kill the enemies you shoot at.
one downside is that the story campaign is a lot shorter than 1 and 2, pretty much a standalone DLC. personally I wouldn't pay $60 for it (got it for free bitches!)
