Women generally do not have outright hairy chests like virile manly men, no, but that's due to testosterone, I think. Men have more than women do.

The replies from girls on here have confirmed what I had previously thought - that some girls do enjoy watching a guy masturbate but most of those that do only enjoy it with a guy who is either a boyfriend or a trusted friend.

I think part of the answer may be about perceptions of risk and control.

If a man comes across a woman masturbating he is unlikely to be worried that she will be so horny she will grab him and force him to have sex with her. I also think guys have a lower barrier to engaging in sex in the first place primarily because they are not the one who ends up pregnant so even if the woman was to become sexually agressive the man would feel less threatened by it.

By contract a woman coming across a man masturbating is likely to be worried that, in his aroused state, he may not be able to control himself and may pester he to engage in sex when she doesn't want to, or worse, rape her.

It may also be influenced by the same difference in instinctive sexual behaviour that leads to a double standard on promiscuity. The norm in the mamal world is for males to sow their seed wherever they can while female choose their mates carefully because it is the female who has to raise the resulting young. In human society we have social norms that aim to move away from that kind of behaviour, at least on the part of the mae, (marriage, for example) but nevertheless I am sure the instincts still influence people.
