There's a few interesting views on bullying and victim blaming.
Victim blaming is what the name suggest, in some way blaming the victim.
Is the way we currently treat bullying wrong? A way you could look at it, is that it's causing victim blaming on both sides;
-We are making bullies out for some kind of criminals without looking for a psychological cause in them; what makes them feel so bad that they do these things? Why don't we find out what hurts them inside?
-We are blaming the hurt of bullying-victims to mental disorders; while in a lot of cases, said depression, anxiety, or phobias can be completely caused by bullying and bullying alone. These people may function perfectly normal in another situation, yet we blame their problems on their mental disorders instead of the people around them.
Should we reverse these two completely?
Should we search for mental disorders in bullies rather than bullying-victims?
