What a terrible title...
But nonetheless- I wonder what all you people think about this situation which I'm having.
I'd say I'm bi (leaning straight, would never date a guy) myself...however, I have an interesting situation. My best friend really really likes me. He thinks that I'm good looking, smart, fit, yeah the whole shebang. He's told me this on a couple of situations in private and we talk about it a lot because we trust each other a lot. However, he then managed to embarrass me in public- he kissed me on the lips right in front of all my friends. Yeah, you can tell how I felt.
I say this situation because he's messaged me back on Facebook to say that he was sorry for being so upfront, as it were. However, I have no idea how to respond because I understand he was trying to let it all out but I also am really embarrassed and frightened to say something wrong.
Thoughts? What should I say? How should I approach this one? Anyone else had this situation?
P.S. This particular situation reminds me (and should remind you) of a famous saying by Brillat-Savarin- "tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are." Food for thought, as you try to answer my questions. Sorry for the length.
