65 Year Old Man Assaults 102 Year Old Woman

Police have charged a 65-year-old western Pennsylvania man with kicking a 102-year-old woman in the shin when he was visiting his mother in a nursing home.

A nurse at Jameson Care Nursing Home broke up the dispute on Saturday between Michael Pavelek, and the woman 37 years his senior, according to The Herald.


Pavelek was walking his mother down the hall and became annoyed when the 102-year-old woman began following them, police said.

Pavelek kicked the woman's shin, cutting her, then kicked her again as the nurse tried to pull him away, according to witnesses.



When the nurse told Pavelek he could hurt the woman, he reportedly said, "Good.''

Pavelek doesn't have an attorney listed in court records and did not answer his phone Friday.
