So after I finished sophomore year in high school I decided to take online school so I can skateboard more every day because my dream is to become a professional skateboarder. In the beginning of sophomore year I was talking to this girl and we almost hooked up but some complicated stuff happened. Fast forward to present time she sometimes likes the things I post on Instagram. And I've been meaning to try and talk to her again. Is it weird if I text her after I haven't talked to her in like 4 months? And if I do text her, what do I say?

Nah... It's not weird if you talk to her now. You could say " Hey, It's been a while, how have you been and what have you been up to ? " you know something like that. I reconnected with old friends I hadn't seen in years and thats what I said and It worked out for me :)

I agree with Ryan. Just approach it slowly, and then if she responds, try to break the ice and go from there. You can always explain to her that you've been busy lately, she'll probably understand, especially if she hasn't seen you.
