Well I'm the opposite, I live in SF so its a pretty big deal here too. Of course I'm pulling for SF but to be dead honest I wouldn't mind if KC won, I quite like the team and your fans and its been like 30 years since you last won it. If any other team besides the Giants were in the WS I'd be pulling for KC. Should be a great series, looking pretty even after those first two games.

Yeah, it's a little different for fanbases and every one who isn't a fan of either team when one team has one 2 of the last 4 and the other hasn't even made the playoffs in 29 years. People love an underdog, and get tired of the same team winning. I love the cardinals too, so when they lost in the nlcs it wasn't a big deal because theyll probably be back next year but when Kansas City gets there it's a bigger deal because who knows when they'll even make the playoffs again.

I think the thing with the Giants is that a lot of people still view them as an underdog team, and they kinda are. When we won in 2010 it was for the first time in I think 54 years, and that whole aura of winning for the first time in so long carried over into the 2012 season. Now that we've won two of the last four were a bit more favored (unlike in 2010/2012 when ESPN predicted we'd get crushed) but still we barely made the playoffs this year just like you guys. The Giants aren't like the Cardinals or Yankees or some team with giant salaries and superstar players, they're a lot like Kansas City in that there's a lot of newcomers and no-names and people that you've never heard of. The only famous players we have are Posey and now Bumgarner. They just play really well in the postseason, credit to Bochy for that.

as a Tigers fan, I am pulling fro the Royals. I have the game on and stuff, but I am not watching every moment off it (I missed the game last night because of my football game)

I love the baseball playoffs. Even before it started I was kind of hoping Kansas City would win this series. I just don't feel love with the Giants. I don't know what it is.

I know I hate the Giants for sweeping my Tigers a couple of years ago haha

Yeah, for some reason I just kind of hate the Giants, maybe for beating the Cardinals. I hate the 49ers too. As a Royals fan I hate the Tigers because they're our rivals, but I like their fans. You guys have a lot of obnoxious jerks but all winning teams have that, generally your fans are pretty classy.

all teams have obnoxious jerks haha. I overall though Royals fans are pretty classy too, and I would love to see them get a World Series win after so long if it couldn't be my Tigers.

yea, don't get me started on the 49ers haha

It looks like the Giants have this one, but crazy things happen, especially in baseball. I would have liked to see KC winning the series at this point, seeing as they've been horrible the entire time I've been alive, save this year.

totally agree. Giants are starting to run away with this one. but the series is 3-2 and the Royals just need a good night to tie it back up. still even if it does get tied up to 3-3 I think the Giants will win it, even if I want the Royals to

I'm from the Bay Area born and raised and while I'm not a die hard sports fan my heart is with the teams in the bay for sure, namely giants and niners. Definitely not super thrilled with the way game 6 has been going, missed 2nd and 3rd innings and came back to the opposite of what I was hoping to see.

I think it's still either teams game at this point. The giants dominated at home and granted the royals are too right now, the giants could rally back hardcore tomorrow.

Well this game has turned to slaughter.

I'm hoping the Royals use up all their offense tonight, and get too excited for tomorrow. Giants have experience on their side, they should definitely not be counted out even if KC carries some momentum into game 7.

Game 7 was awesome!!!!! Obviously stoked the giants won but regardless that was definitely a very close game. I couldn't believe Blanco's error in the. 9th, could've potentially lost them the game. And Pandas reaction when he caught the game winning catch was priceless

I would have liked for the Royals to win. But the Giants definitely earned this WS.

Madison Bumgarner is such a beast! he is not even human. wanted the Royals to win, but I did have the Giants winning it and a lot of the reasons was Bumgarner

God, that hit in the bottom of the ninth almost gave me a heart attack.
