I'm not particularly a fan of soccer, but my roommate is, so I get to watch some bits :P So... now I'm paying attention to it!

Who do you think will win the League?
Also, obviously comment about the recent game are most welcome

I think Chelsea have a great chance of winning it if they keep Costa fit throughout the season. Other contenders maybe Bayern, PSG, Real and Barca.

Thing thing with Chelsea is that we don't really need a quality striker to win matches. We've got a quality bunch of midfielders that can score too. Now that Drogba is back with Remy and Diego Costa too, this is the strongest I've think we've been in years

It's a strong team yes, but you need the balance with the way Mourinho wants you to play. Drogba can still do the job and I've always loved him as a Striker, You're still unbeaten when in November when you are playing in the League and the Champions League is very impressive. You need consistency which I think will be brought.

Arsenal are not really in top form...drawing from a 3-0 lead with anderletch.

Real Madrid is amazing...I guess they'll win it again.

They are very strong this year, more so than last year. They could be the first team to win back to back. Hopefully not though

They are the best in the world ATM, without a doubt.

Real Madrid will probably win, but anything can happen from the semis onwards I guess. I think Chelsea have a good shot of winning too. My dark horse to make the final would be PSG :)

spoke a bit too soon mate, how'd those last 10 minutes in Manchester treat ya?

Haha they'll go deep either way. The knockouts are anyone's game, Barca have yet to find their true potential up front this season if you ask me. Madrid are great and will go deep. Top 4 candidates are Barca, Madrid, Bayern, and Chelsea but knowing how the competition works only 2 of those 4 will make the semi's. PSG, Dortmund, City, Arsenal, Atletico all darkhorses to sneak into that group.

What about the Europa? Think Everton will make the finals, they've looked amazing so far against some good sides (though maybe I'm biased as I'm admittedly a massive Evertonian :P)

Real Madrid for me. Most complete team in the competition and it's difficult to see a team with Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Pepe, Rodriguez etc being beaten by anybody.

Bayern are inconsistent and although I think Chelsea have a great chance of winning I think Madrid will just pip them to it.

Want to make it clear that I want Chelsea to win though :)
