How many friends do you have? Do you consider yourself a popular person at school?

I only have one good friend. No, I do not consider myself a popular person at school. Popularity does not matter to me.

I do my classes online now, but when I was in school, I had maybe 5-6 friends. I only keep in touch in with a few of them currently.
I was, and still am a bit of a loner. I've just never seen the appeal of being "popular" and having a million friends.
The truth is, it's hard to find good friends. Especially in the school I went to, where literally about 80% of the kids I was around daily were immature little fucking pricks.
I've actually made more quality friends here on VT, than I have in real life.

Friends are the reason why I go to my current HS, it's a pretty big school, so it's easy to find someone with the same interests. There are plenty of people that I consider as one of my friend, I think that connections and networking is what I need for my future. So yeah..but popular? Not by a long shot:/

I've got two friends (I think. Maybe...), and no I'm most definitely not popular.

I've got a few friends. A lot of people like me, but I am by no means popular.

Well, outside of VT I have.. Alot of friends. Maybe 30-40 I think. They're all great people. I don't have a chance to be popular in school, but when I'm with my friends I'm the guys who makes everyone laugh. So id say 9/10-10/10 popular with my friends

I have dozens of friends, but not really super close friends.

I don't have someone that I can call and they will instantly be there with me. But I hang with a LOT of different groups of people, not just one group.

At school, I wasn't popular in the sense that I was well-liked. But most people knew me. Cuz I was smart and funny and dressed well haha. People knew me and my name but I didn't hangout with everyone..

I have gone to the 2 extreme sides. I had lots of friends at my old school last year. I am in a new city and new school this year and know no body. Still have my best friend but we only text now.

Just one friend I met at day camp and don't see much of since school started. I've never been popular in any way at school. Which is fine because I'd rather be left alone.

I got a group but I'm more in there because they suffer me than because they like me. I'm not very popular naw.

True friends I can rely on, just a handful, five exactly. I was popular at school because everyone knew me but not because I wanted to be popular, in fact I was quiet and isolated from everyone else.

In college, 1-2 friends and my ex-frat mates.

In highschool, I had the best circle of friends ever , including myself, we were were five and peaked at six.
In HS I wasn't popular, but I was at least known by most. There were 3 classes of 4o students each, per grade, so it wasn't exactly hard to be known. I had long hair and a somewhat different/quirky personality, so it wasn't hard to pay attention.

At my TI course, I was only popular between the teachers because I was a grade A student that was really fast in learning and had interesting approaches. The whole body of students pretty much respected me after I did my final project that was about creating a new programming language, I was the conversation topic for a few days :)

it depends. I have a very close circle of 4-5 (2 of them being even closer). being on sports teams, I am friends with my team mates. I get along with almost everybody. I guess I am well liked. yea that is kind of the same as popular, but I don't want to be arrogent about it.

it is def more important to have good friends then lots of friends you can't count on

Well, I'm homeschooled. So my friends have dwindled to one friend. Which I'm trying to find ways to make more.

My brief time in HS/MS, I had around 5 or 6 friends I actually considered friends. However, I'm sure there were more that I should probably consider.

Have about 4, 2 are close. As for popularity well, not really but I guess no one really is at our school. Eh, I don't know. It's not something that really bothers me.

Theres different levels of friends and I have one very best best friend and then two other really close best friends. Id say the 4 of us are really tight and close for sure and we can share anything, but I share more with my bestie. But then we hang out with a bunch of other friends a lot to so depends.

I used to have lots of friends last year ( Okay maybe 3 isn't alot but still plenty for me ) until I moved to my new high school where here I have none, zip, Zero! It's sad but it's better to have no friends then fake people pretending to be your friend.

I just started HS and even though most of my old friend go here I don't really hang out with as much. I guess I still have like 4 friends from MS I still talk/text with and a couple guys I met this year.

I have never been popular, nor have I cared about being popular. It's a lot more important to me to be acknowledged as a person, to be honest. I do have a very few number of friends, and a lot of people I would call acquaintances.

My core friend group consists of myself and four other people, but there are people outside of that core who I'm also friends with. The people outside of it I'm not nearly as close with, though. Except for maybe two or three people, but only because I hang out with them outside of school sometimes.

I have three friends. I consider myself popular.

Wow you sound cool...I have only 1 friend, he is Dave. Me and Dave are always best friends because he is imaginary so its better than real friends.
Will you be my friend please ? Dave is getting boring and I feel sad having only an imaginary friend..

Please be my friend ? :3 I want to be popular also

I have a few close friends. I learned over my years in hs for sure that it shouldn't matter if you have only a couple. I have a few close best friends, and then I got my closest best friend. We do a lot of stuff together! So much fun!

In secondary after I'd been with the same people for fucking years I had 2 'best' friends and then just acquaintences. Now I'm in college I seemed to have branched out and have made about 40 new friends which surprised the fuck out of me as I'm pretty socially awkward. I've always been at the bottom of the food chain but I took advantage of the fact that I was in a new environment where people didn't know me and I ended up finding people as weird as me who I get along with great.

Ehhhhhhh. I am friendly around a lot of different people but I'd say the number of *good* friends I at school have is countable on two hands. I'm not very popular, but I'm not antisocial or hated either, and I could keep a conversation going if someone kickstarts it or catches me when I'm either pumped up about something or I'm tipsy. :P

I could only count three or four people as good friends. Apart from that i could say i have a lot of acquaintances.

I'm known fairly well in college. But the truth is that I avoid popularity. I don't like the limelight and i stay away from it as far as i can manage.

In school, I had a large social circle but after school finished we went our seperate ways and nobody really kept in touch, we all live in the same area/city but we never hang out anymore. After school finished I met lots & lots of new people but only really see 2 of my school friends anymore. I have about 3/4 good good friends, the rest are associates/friends, if you know what I mean.
