Got cut 2 years ago, and I'm pissed!

Hey people, I'm JJ, I'm new around here, ran across the site while looking up circumcision info and ran across all the posts!

A couple years ago I got cut because my father asked me too, siting that it would be cleaner and I'd have less chance of getting STDs and infections... So at the beginning it was awesome, so sensitive and just tingly, I figured, not so bad yano? Now 2 years in and I have got a few urinary tract infections which I never got when I was uncut (apparently cut guys aren't supposed to get UTIs) and that awesome sensitivity, yea all gone, and actually if I'm going to be totally honest I have LOST a LOT of sensitivity too.... I reeaalllly hate being cut now.... I feel like I was led the wrong direction by dudes on sites not being totally honest by their later experience too, and I also found out that some of the sites that promote circumcision as a good thing are ran by pedos that get off on circ stories...

Am I the only one out there that feels this way after getting cut???

im not so sure because i am uncut but i know that when you are cut, that you lose the sensitivity that you have when you masturbate with the extra friction you get from the foreskin. I do agree though that it obviously will stay cleaner uncut but I am not too sure about the whole UTI's. Never heard that getting cut was the reason for a UTI.

No they say getting cut stops infection and keeps you from getting UTIs but that obviously isn't the case with me, and I don't believe the cleaner bit either, I only smelled a little when i used soap instead of just warm water, found out later it's because it changes your pH level, the whole cut is cleaner is just bull to me now that I know

Thank you, I appreciate that, you are right some of them are science articles but with my dads blessing I have been doing a lot of looking around and apparently anything American published or published by some Austrian guy named Brian Morris are super biased, this is actually published in the AAPs magazine pediatrics, it's a ton of doctors and scientists from around the world shitting on the AAPs circumcision task force and laying out all the cultural bias, I wish I read this before :(

When I was born, my parents didn't have me circumsised, but I think after a few months I had to be, because of an infection.

That sucks, girls get antibiotics, guys get part of their dick cut.... I hope you weren't a victim of having a bad doctor, on a few others posts I saw where parents complained that they were told to pull back their kids skin and wash under it, I guess the skin is attached to the head on most of us till around puberty and if people pull it back early it causes infections and a need for a circumcision, pretty effed up :(

The USA has a much higher rate of circumcision than much of the rest of the world and it does seem to me that the biggest reason for this is social intertia rather than any significant medical benefit. That social intertia may be couched in terms of "we wouldn't want johnny to be different" or people who say cut looks nicer or cleaner.

That said I am not against circumcision if someone decides to have it done to himself once he has read and understood what it is all about and had a chance to assess the pros and cons. I do believe it should not be done to babies who are two young to understand and it seems a great pity you feel mislead.

Restoration will not put you back completely as you were as the skin that is stretched to cover the glans during restoration is regular skin rather tha mucous membrane and lacks many of the nerve endings the foreskin would have had. Nevertheless by reducing friction between the glans and clothing it should become more sensitive.

This all seems to be part of a general mechanism in the brain whereby if it expects a particular level of sensation from a particular part of the body it can adjust if the signals from the nerves are more or less than this level.

Depends from man to man . I mean , there will be always one side that is like it and there will be always side that will hate it , not just for this , but for everything in life ... It is true that foreskin is very important part of human body , and it is not here without reason , so it is only popular between Americans , Muslims , Philippines and Jews . So , it is not popular trend in rest of World .. I mean , circumcision is good only because easy hygiene and look and no more . By the way , I am also against circumcision , although I am Muslim , but I am something like semi-circumcised , so , I still have more than half of my foreskin and there is still frenulum , but it is only like it because of my family situation ( my dad is Muslim , mom is Roman Catholic ) , so , only that saved me , and I had bad phimosis , so that semi-circumcision was like heaven to me , like new Sun rise from that day . I dont have any problems with sensitivity or other . Everything is good . And I can not understand those that circumcise themself or their children without reason , only I can understand is because problems . Interesting thing that It is not strictly required in Islam or in Quran , but most of Muslims doesnt know it , so doctors are making money on it .. I have an older friend that can get me access, I'll read them, I'm always interested in the authors and the science behind findings, I'm a bit of a nerd that way I guess, I just wish these scientists could explain why if they say there are benefits US men generally have worse sexual health, more HIV and STDs than Europe, Russia, China, Canada, Australia and other places that no longer circumcise as a rule. I don't think being cut or uncut is going to keep anyone from getting UTI infections, I mean I've had throat surgery twice. I had my tonsils taken out and I was told I shouldn't ever had strep throat again, I've had strp throat many times since that surgery. You can't stop anything from happening. I've been cut all my life and I haven't gotten a UTI infection and or have had any problems being cut.

On no you're good man, and I wish that choice wasn't there, I think it would be better for everyone, I just read in a Jewish news article today (my family has Jewish roots (dad tho he's atheist now) so we keep updated on stuff, but I read that it looks like Denmark is going to move to make all circumcision illegal, and it'll probably spread to the rest of Europe, I'm coming from the angle that it's my body, I should be able to be 18 and be able to feel like I can say no and not be pressured to get something done with out a real need for it

Yes here in America they have all kinds of reasons for circumcision that don't really match what happens in the real world, it's mostly a money maker for doctors here, didn't find out about that till this year really, it's an almost 2billion dollar a year industry here :mad:

I have been on a few forums over the last week asking people about their experiences with this, the people who needed to get cut for some odd medical issue (and those were few) seem to like it okay or love it because they had a really bad tear, that was oddly enough caused by early retraction by their parents or a stupid doctor, and they could now get off with out pain, those of us that were forced into it late in life, or they were embarrassed by having a foreskin because they were the only one of their friends with one, hate it, and miss their foreskins, I also found out that America is only like 5% of the worlds male population but thanks to circ we consume 50% of the yearly output of Viagra, so I guess I got ED to look forward too

They are "testing" so it's not something you can do right now. Anyway, the foreskin HAS GONE, it's over. You can have in the future some "kind of foreskin" but it would never be the same foreskin you had once, that's a fact.

If circumcision was never a thing, or say if my Jewish ancestors didn't decide to change circumcision to is modern version just a few hundred years ago (it was just either blood letting or removal of what went past the gland, it was changed to remove sexual stimulation), IMHO everyone would have been better off, you being happy with your circumcision aside, if people respected the foreskin for what it is, a natural healthy functioning body part that's supposed to be there,.

It's very different, the sensations are for a lack of a better word muted? It doesn't nessesarly take longer but it's less satisfying, I used to cum so strong and it felt so good, and it flew feet, now it just dribbles down my hand and shaft, it's now lose enough so I don't need lube, sure it still feels good but the difference is before it like eating your favorite food every time now it's just food haha still tasty but not the best?
