I know it sounds like a really stupid question, but like this is the first time I'm asking a guy out so it's a little bit complicated for me.

So background story I'm bi and I always had a hint that I was bi because I tend to also look at guys, but a couple of days ago I met this guy through another friend and we started talking for a little while, then I've never really felt nervous when I talk to other guys and I just get nervous when I talk to him, just like I used to get nervous when I talked to the first girl I really liked and had a fling with.

Asking a girl out is still challenging but I mean there's always movies, books, songs, t.v. shows etc. showing scenes on how a guy asks a girl out but there never really is like a social standard on how to ask someone of your same sex out on a date. I mean it really there shouldn't be different ways to ask out.

Any advice? I really haven't been out like that about my sexuality, I grew up in a conservative community, luckily there wasn't any discrimination, but you could feel the don't ask don't tell vibe all around.

Long story short, I want to ask a guy out without fuckin* up.

Idk if guys actually need to date that way. I mean I can't see me and my bf going out on a date. We just go places together.

You know, I could give billions of ideas like letters, flowers, poems. But you're the one asking him out. You should do so with your own style and creativity.

Well that's the thing, I mean you just didn't go up to him and say, hey lets be boyfriends. Now you guys are going to places together.

You had to approach him some how right?

No I don't approach. He approached me and we just started spending more and more time together. By approach, I mean we were at day camp together and he just started staying by me all the time. I mean I could tell he liked me and I felt attracted to him.

Find what would you guys like to do together like camping, fishing, biking start with something neutral and take the stuff from there.
