So me and my friend that is practically my brother had an argument on a facebook chat. and i said something that put himover the edge and now he will not talk to me. i have apologized but i dont think it helped. i feel terrible and i need help.

Well, for starts, how long has this been going on for? If it's only been a couple of days, maybe he needs some time. Find out what you guys have done wrong. Don't blame it on yourself and don't blame it on him either. Show him that you do care and you want to be his friend again. Maybe you can give him a gift or let him know "hey, I'm so sorry about doing this, I wasn't thinking right and I care for you a lot." Keep the apology sincere.

And if he doesn't want to be your friend anymore, don't be sad about it, because things happen and you can always find others which care about you too.

Unfortunately in a situation like this you're at the mercy of someone's willingness to forgive. Now when me and my cousin (who's like my brother) fight, he wants instant forgive and forget. With me it can take a while. So be patient. Hope it works out.

Just give it some time. Forgiveness is not something that will come instantly.

it happened the night before i posted this. we are like brothers and we fight like them too, its happened before. but never this bad. im gonna try to text him in a few days and talk it out. thanks for the help :)
