Why do i want to feel depressed?

I stopped feeling depress a short amount of time ago, and recently I just want to go back in to being sad. I don't know what it is but when i am sad i like(not really like, more like prefer) that feeling of emptiness in place of joy or any other emotion. Do any of you have any idea why I feel this way?

Do any of you have any idea why I feel this way?I am guessing that your sadness makes you feel better because it allows you to cope with the bad times. You get pleasure because it simply gets you through life. Does that sound accurate?

Well,
for me, depression is a state of mind, I've been like that for as long as I can remember and I've learned to become "comfortable" like that, if I can say.
I wouldn't see myself change and be happy, I'd be completely lost.
But that's just me, who reached an extreme.
