Don't pretend to be ok- if it isn't true/etc., it will not help.

I'd talk to your mom, she seems like she would be most helpful. Do you have anxiety all the time? People who have extreme anxiety need to be in therapy (before the anxiety gets worse, and well, turns them into me [I'm bedridden, and everything terrifies me] ) and possibly on medication.

I alos have a rather constant felling of anxiety along with the emptiness

If you have constant anxiety, you may even have Generalized Anxiety Disorder, like I do. It's very hard to deal with, and usually gets worse over time if you do nothing about it.

Just tell your mother the truth before the meeting. It will be a release and you'd be a lot more uncomfortable with her finding out in some meeting with a teacher, no?

If your mom is supportive then take that and go see the psychologist.

Depression isn't a state of mind people ''just get over'' the longer it persists the more likely medical intervention is necessary.

As for that Hitler... Threatening to kill himself that sounds like a very insecure and unstable personality I hope he is out of you and your mothers life for good and soon.
