When is it enough when they bring the war to us or when they start fighting harder. This war is over and yet we're still fighting.

Im much more worried about the Hundreds Of Thousands of Iraqi civilians that have losst their lives due to stray bullets and murder than the 4000 soldiers wh died doing what they were supposed to do.

They can't handle it themselves, the country is not in a worse state since the war, if UK and USA troops pulled out they would get slandered just like what happened at vietnam, I'm not for the war, but it needs to be stopped, not by pulling out but just ending it somehow.

omg
If you start a job you fuckin finish it
If you pull out now all the deaths ALL of them military and civilian will have been for nothing, that is ALLOT of souls lost and you just want to run away and forget about them?
Many more civilians that showed loyalty to the Americans will be slaughtered in order to instill the necessary fear again for the taliban to rule with an iron fist
America made a BIG mistake and a HUGE mess
Have the conviction to clean it up and finish the job
When the war is over
and the dust has settled
How do you want your actions to be remembered?
What result do you want all your sacrifice all your blood to go towards?
Will it be a stable democtaritc country?
Or a sese pool for terrorism and extremists?

It's never enough. The problem is that they constantly fight. They always come to us when they are in need, and sure we should help, but when our own men and children and grandchildren are out there and die before turning 20, and that they sit back and watch them die is just plain stupid.

I would rather pull out and face disgrace than stay in a war for ten or more years, kill millions, and fall in even greater debt. Id rather cut my losses than run a superpower into the ground and kill millions. Pride is not worth more than lives

A few years ago
America stood up to over 40,000 nuclear missiles from the soviet union
Since then countless funds have been devoted to a strong military
in 2005 it was 3/4 of a trillion dollars
and your telling me your to weak to take on a third world country now?
If that's true
then its not the Iraq war thats run you into the ground
Pulling out of Iraq not only leaves yet another mess left by the states
But it makes you look truly weak
with Russia starting to flex its muscles again
China on its way to becoming the next superpower with a strong economy, a HUGE population and constantly increasing military spending
The chess game with Iran and North Korea
etc.....
I do agree that you need to pull out of areas
You have troops stationed on over 70% of earths surface (135 countries)
You have just under 75,000 permanently stationed in Germany...why?
Your economy is shit not solely from the war in Iraq nowhere near

i disagree, before Iraq we were completely out of debt. Iraq has been ruining us, and It can only get worse. I dont care if we look weak, we need to pull out and save potentially millions of lives.

Well, yes we were out of debt b4 the war, but now we are in a great state of unseen depression to me.
Sooner or later we are going to see another depression like the one from the 1930s but will be even worse

You disagree... well thats factual..http://youtube.com/watch?v=teMlv3ripSM (hahahahahaha Monty Pythons awesome)
Your Economy is crap because yes the government is spending allot but if you were to down size the empire you'd have MORE than enough funds to handle iraq
Your economy is also in SEVERE trouble because of the American people living waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond their means with morgages they cannot afford, credit cards they should not have etc...
so the housing market is CRASHING people are losing there homes by the tens of thousands when that happens they stop spending no more eatting out no more new tv's new vehicles etc...
Why do you think bush tried that pathetic economic stimulation package

The US is still in Afghanistan, too.
Yeah, Americans have been spending more than saving. Big businesses and big banks liked it until lack of consumer saving finally bit them back. Some banks are paying the price (no pun intended) for making risky mortgages. Bear Sterns was recently bailed out...
A lot of us are finally realizing that saving is important. Retailers are feeling the pressure. One example is CompUSA selling off its brick and mortar stores and selling its online operations. I even noticed that Circuit City stopped using glossy paper for their weekly ads and started using newspaper-type paper. Starbucks closed or is closing many of its locations.
Interest rates have been falling, and that makes for bad savings rates, even for online savings accounts. Hopefully, my student loans will follow next year and drop their rates by at least 2 points, too. Credit card companies still like raising rates for no reason and reducing the grace period. The banks are not nickeling and diming its customers, but smacking them with fees upwards of $20. Identity theft is rampant, costing even more money. The Canadian dollar has been worth more than the US dollar at times, and they tend to be even now.
There are many reasons the last State of the Union Address did not begin by calling the country strong.

I want the troops to pull out of Iraq.
America can't afford to pay for the war. It is now estimated that this war will cost American taxpayers over 3 trillion dollars, which includes the cost of long term health benefits for soldiers and the interest on the money we're borrowing to finance it. Politicians who are borrowing the money will not have the answer to the debt that eventually must be paid, but our generation and future ones will. The war is bankrupting this country and its time to end it and set priorities.
Not only is it too costly, the military is strained thin. Soldiers are being deployed multiple times back to Iraq and all aren't getting the best possible equipment they need. The VA can't manage all the disability claims they're getting from Veterans either.
Al-Qaeda has not gotten weaker but only stronger. This war has not and will not make us any safer, only radicalize them more. We can't continue these failed policies.
We cannot allow any more soldiers or Iraqi civilians die for a war that wasn't in our national security interests.

America is in a bad spot matter what we do its not good enough. If we hadn't gone into Iraq then we would have been ridiculed and hated by the world, but by going into Iraq we still get ridiculed and hated by the world. No matter what we do in america its going to be seen as wrong or selfish. If we stay in Iraq they'll just say we're still after oil or just on some kind of rampage to control the world, but if we stay then we're scared and we are enabling and encouraging terrorist. You might not like it but that is the type of predicatment that we are in. In my honest opinion I think we should let them decide if they want our help or not.

Uhm, they're making it very clear that they don't want our help by KILLING OUR SOLDIERS.

I never said some weren't, but how would you feel if a bunch of strange people flipped everything upside down in your homeland? Would you consider blowing them up? We're being just as bad as Colonial England by hanging around there. We wouldn't have been mocked for not going to Iraq either, there's so reason to be there.
There are no WMDs in Iraq. Our government lied to us. We could have left that country alone because they weren't messing with anyone. They weren't even harboring terrorists, that was Saudi Arabia. Why aren't we attacking them? Because they give us oil. Iraq has little to nothing to do with 9/11, something our government will admit to. There is no reason to be there.
