How to deal with a guy who took advantage of u?

Recently, I was in a friends with benefits situation with this guy who was my best friend. He told me that after a while we would be together and to just consider him my boyfriend. However, that was a total fucking lie. After he took advantage of the benefits, I found out from Facebook that he is in a relationship. I told him pretty much to never talk to me again and I hope he was happy with what he did.

However, he was my best and only real life friend and he hurt me badly. I'm unsure how to move on from this.

That has to be rough. I've lost friends I was really close to in some form or another (Some have cut me off entirely, some just grew apart, some acted like they wanted me to vanish- so I did.) and it's never an easy wound to heal. Honestly, stepping back from my last relationship, there was a lot of coercion and shit as well, but I haven't cut the guy off (eh, I don't feel I need to), but I also haven't probably handled things the way I should. Lots of respect to you for showing him who's boss, and getting him out of your life. I wish the best for you, I really do.

Ok. Maybe he was your only real life friend, which i doubt because you're really nice,
But would you really want him to be your friend if hes a total dick. You should be happy to be you and know we're here for you through everything.

Awww Madie D: I'm so sorry this happened :( The first thing I would do ( if it where me ) is to get him out of the picture ( sounds like you've done that ). Try to get busy and not think about him, don't try replay "scenes" ( memories that you replay in your head ) because all it does is hurt you and makes you mad. If he was a friend, he wouldn't have done what he did so he obviously wasn't an true friend. I'm here for ya Madie if ya need to talk :p
