Grew Taller than boyfriend

Hi my name is Kelly i'm 17 almost 18. I've been going out with kyle since I was 14 and he was 15. When we stated going out I was 5'2" and he was 5'7". He was alot taller his nickname for me was shortie. When i turned 15 I was 5'4 and Kyle was still 5'7" than next year i grew to almost to 5'6" than i stopped growing . We were eye to eye but at least Kyle was a litte taller. Kyle joined the army I have not seen him since kast december. He is coming home for thanksgiving I can't wait :)
The problem I have is that i've grown to 5'9" I haven't told Kyle I've gotten taller. Not sure how to tell him that his shortie is now taller than him. I don't know:what to do if i should tell him or surprise him. My sisters know and they think its funny. I worried that the fact i'm taller than Kyle Now will be the main topic of thanksgiving dinner. Not sure how to handle situation. . The first kiss will be ackward I'vce never kissed a shorter guy. I'm not sure how to handle any of this some advise would be appreciated. Thakyou. Kelly

I wouldn't worry about it, how long has he been gone?

If it's been more than 6 months than he has to at the very least understand that people grow overtime, besides, maybe he got taller too?

I always prefered to have my GF's shorter than me, don't know why. But he obviosly really likes you, and since he does, I highly doubt it will be a problem. And you never know, he may have grown himself.

I don't think you should bring it up. If others do then oh well. Kissing shouldn't be a prob, it's only a couple of inches. Just don't wear tall shoes lol.

It shouldn't be an issue, on either end. I'm only just now...kind of with someone who is FINALLY taller than me (yay. He's 6'5", I'm roughly 6'0"). All my other boyfriends have been shorter.

But yeah, if he's at that age, like others have said, he might've grown.
But either way, if he really likes you, it shouldn't be a problem.

This is me at a prom ( I was the prom king :D ) and the prom queen is over 6ft tall, I'm 5"4 & 1/2. I wass standing on a stool with my sheos on , she took her high heel shoes off
