Lack of interests

I'm just not really interested in anything. I mean, I like a few things, like gaming, movies and rap. But, that's it. I think its because I'm in a bad mood all the time I don't feel like exploring my interests or my past interests seem boring to me. I don't really get exited ant anything either.

Anyone else experience this.

When I was depressed (I still am btw) I lost intrest in everything, to the point I nearly failed high school and ended up with bad grades because I lost intrest in my education (Something I used to deem very important).

Yes. Exactly that. I completely forgot about school. Since I had depression my grades have slipped quite a bit. I just didn't give a fuck.

Horrible thing about that illness, it can really screw up your hole future if it hits you at a bad time like it did with me.

True unfortunately.
I've had depression since 13. It has made me practically fail school and screw up my chances at a decent career.

Interest losing is a big symptom of depression.

I wouldn't have been to mad about the bad grades if I was some reatrded cretin with no cognative ability or understanding of the world, but I'm really not, I'm fairly inteligent, but because it hit me at a bad time, my grades are quite poor indeed. And they'll be like that forever....
