A: C's Friend
C: My friend

A is giving me this impression that C is saying things about me. I don't know what C is saying because the A became defensive when I asked her. I don't know if this is just a rumor, but I want to know what C is saying. I get this impression because when I told A that I was friends with someone on her school bus, she asked if it was C. I asked her how she knew, and I found out that C and A sit together at lunch.

I don't know if this is because of my trust issues, but I think C is saying bad things about me behind my back. C threatened me with a knife before at a park, but I thought she was playing around.

I've had people pretend to be friends with me in the past and it had always offended me. How do I know if C is saying bad things about me behind my back?

TL;DR: How do I know if C is saying bad things about me behind my back?

Ask other people who talk to C, see if they can shed any light on what she's been saying, if anything at all.

I hate being paranoid, I am suposed to take medication for it but I haven't recently, it got so bad that I refused to eat food prepared by my mother because I was convonced she was trying to kill me.....paranoia is dangerous.

I was actually considering doing that. I'll ask some people on her school bus that I know because I ride a different school bus.

I don't get paranoid often at all. It's just this situation because of my trust issues. Thanks!

Threatening you with a knife?? Doesn't sound like you can trust this person...

well you can ask people she knows. you can ask her to her face. personally, if she threatened you with a knife, she is not someone I would trust

I really didn't know whether or not to trust her when I first met her. She seemed like a nice person, but doesn't everyone when you first meet them? I don't easily trust people, unless they prove me otherwise. I guess that would be a good thing, but it occasionally leads to me getting suspicious of others. I've always had a strange feeling about her, ever since I've met her. I guess first impressions do mean something. Thank you!

The only way to know would be to ask her, but I don't want to confront her if she didn't do anything. I'll get some information from other people that seem to know her. I feel the information would be much more accurate that way. Obviously, if she was saying bad things about me, she would deny it. Thank you.

Yeah, that makes sense. You're welcome :)
