Is Pharmacy a good field to go into?

Do any of you think Pharmacy is a good career field? I am out of options but am slightly intrigued by it. I already did a lot of research and despite my struggles in science and the long time I'd be in college, it may be worth it.

i think its a good idea because there is job security there. people always need medication, so there is always an option there. go for it

I'm currently studying on that field, and I'm really liking it so far. In my country, job opportunities in the pharmacy and health care field are pretty good, but I've always liked that area as well, so it really suits me.

It's an extremely good field, humans will always get sick, medicen will always be needed, and the market will only grow as 3rd world nations start to catch up and begin production of medicen themselves and as medicen becomes more avilable to the public as it's needed and as new drugs are developed. It's an ever growing buisness that will keep existing untill the fall of humanity, it will always have jobs, very profitable jobs.

It is, I see it as being very rewarding and a good career choice. You just have to be motivated about it though. Have a good knowledge on medicine.

It may be a tough course and I do not know the college/uni system you guys have in the USA but as ever - get all the info you can about admissions and what colleges look for in students - there must be a variety of jobs a pharmacy degree can lead to
