I've read in the past that some people think that uncircumcised guys begin masturbating earlier than circumcised guys. This is because, these people maintain, uncircumcised guys get some sort of sensation when their foreskin begins to detach from their head and become fully retractable. Feeling this sensation, they explore and start masturbating. I would like to know if this reason is at all true, and in any case whether circumcision status has any effect on the age guys start masturbating. This is NOT a cut vs. uncut page. Please bring that debate elsewhere.

Also, please note: For the purposes of the age started question, you should put the age you began consciously touching your penis because it gave you some sort of sensation (and to cause that sensation). What I mean is that when guys are born, their foreskin is still slightly attached to their glans (head). Cut guys have it removed. With uncut guys, it stays attached until mid to late childhood until it begins to unfuse itself and become (in effect) a separate, independently moveable layer of skin. This allows it to be retracted when soft. When a guy gets hard, it will also retract usually simply because more skin is needed to cover the thing.

Sometimes, guys cannot retract when soft or even when hard. This is called phimosis and is treatable. I don't know you well, but if you can't actually retract your foreskin without pain when soft, you might want to look into it a bit. Not necessariy an issue, but you never know.

Sometimes, guys cannot retract when soft or even when hard. This is called phimosis and is treatable. I don't know you well, but if you can't actually retract your foreskin without pain when soft, you might want to look into it a bit. Not necessariy an issue, but you never know.

I am curious as to what you mean by this. Could you explain?

I don't know how much you may have read of posts I have made, but a few months ago, I started a thread about partial circumcision, which I believe I have, seeking information about guys in similar situations.

Basically, I know for a fact I was circumcised at birth, but nowadays my foreskin (or remnant) covers nearly all of my head when soft (all of it in the cold!) and can cover about 75% of it with no discomfort when erect. This arrangement has impacted my masturbation technique.

In conclusion, I was wondering: are you in a similar situation? Do you also have a partial in the way I described? Does it impact how you use your equipment?
