No one answered me properly last time.

I was thinking about getting a wristwatch. What makes/brands/models are good for a guy? Who else has one? What is yours like? Could you post a pic of yours as well if you can?

Thanks! :)

If your the person I think you are, I did answer you properly. Timex, thats about all I can say, very good brand, reliable, cheap, look and feel good, nice build quality. What more do you want?

And no, CBA posting a picture of my watch.

When it comes to watches, I just go to the department store and get one that's not too cheap, but isn't super expensive. Nice digital watch, with alarm clock function and lights up. I prefer Armitron but that's just my preference.

I see you're posting from the UK so why not try M&S, they usually have pretty nice looking watches (mostly analogue) at quite affordable prices. You could also look in Debenhams or John Lewis though they tend to be a little dearer if you want a good looking watch.

I really don't know, it was given to me by my dad when he got a new watch, it's like 20 years old and still works like the day it was made, they really do make fantastic watches though, I reccomend them hole heartedly.

My latest watch is a Casio - don't know the model number, but it is solar powered so never needs
the battery replaced, and it is "atomic" so it never needs setting and takes care of daylight
saving time itself. It's a dial watch, cuz that's what I prefer. About $100.

I got a pebble smart watch. it's linked to my iPhone so I can read messages on there, and I can pick different watch faces depending on what mood I'm in :)

Just go for a citizen, I mean they are kinda pricey, but they're absolutely gorgeous and well worth it

I have a sekonda watch that has a black leather strap and has gold plates round the face of it that was given to me as a gift two Christmas's ago, but I don't have a clue where it is. I also have a red silicone ice watch. They are both brands I would recommend and they are both relatively cheap.

Sekonda watch was £25 but some are dearer & the ice watch was around £50-60 I think.

This is the watch I wear daily. Victorinox makes great watches, but are a little pricey. I really like it, and they have a lot of other really nice watches too.

I get compliments on my watch all the time :) Bulova is the best, leather straps are classy, and it looks easily twice as expensive as it really is

I have a Seiko "Cocktail Time" Automatic Dress Watch with 40mm Case, and Hardlex Crystal, it's a bit pricey but its definitely worth it if you're into the simpler stuff...
