There's a guy at my school who I've had a crush on for ages. Well, it turns out the crush was mutual. We ended up dating for about two months last year, but he broke up with me out of no where. I didn't want to make things awkward for him, so I acted strong. I didn't go digging for reasons why he broke up with me. And, thanks to that, we managed to stay great friends. The only issue was that I still liked him. A lot.

Flash forward to now. My feelings have only grown stronger. I'm actually at the point where I spend most of my free time thinking about him, and less time focusing on other important things in my life.

I'm pretty sure he has feelings for me too. All of our friends (yes, our friends. We share the same friend group) say it's obvious he still likes me. Apparently he gets really jealous whenever another guy hugs me. On top of that, I've seen how he flirts with me, always spending time with me, complimenting me, brushing by me, and even leaning on me (just a few days ago he lay his head on my shoulders which I thought was adorable). I flirt back, but I'm not sure what the next step to take is.

I'm a bit shy when it comes to making moves, and especially so with him. You see, I don't want to freak him out or anything by telling him how I feel, as I'm unsure of the reason why he originally broke up with me. But I don't really want to leave things the way they are either, because it'd really kill me if he found another girl. One of my friends has hinted that he might ask me out in the future (she was he one who originally got us together). So should I just see how the future plays out? Or should I try and do something?

Gahhhh I'm not sure if I like having this crush or I hate it :what:

Do what you feel is right. I'd would say give him another shot, and ask questions later. If things don't work out this time, then it's time to let him go. People have on again, off again relationships all the time. If he is all that you think about, then I think you should start over with him. Try not to pay attention to how things happened last time. You will never know unless you give him the chance. Should you start to feel uncomfortable and you don't feel right about it, you can then stop it and move on. However just give him a second shot and see how things work out. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice :)
I guess I'll just see how things play out from here!

Just though I'd let you all know that he asked me out today and I said yes :)
