Well everyone says i am rude to teachers but i treat them like my friends, so it is a respect thing how i treat them, but just wondering if you treat them any different than you would a family member or friend, like they were the queen or not even there?
Some examples are, I've asked one teacher if she was a paedophile, another, this also needs her response as it was hilarious XD
"Hey are you a whore?"
"No Kieran! I believe in waiting for marriage and being with the one person you love, so i am not a whore.... Any more!" She looked so proud of herself :')
Then just this last Friday a teacher was showing us a video, I was paying NO attention and she said "Now you need to do-" whatever she said, and i said "Wait, was that the video?"
"Yes Kieran."
"Well I'm fucked!"
Everyone, including myself laughed, the teacher looked like she was ready to kill me or give up on everything, maybe both?
Of course SOME teachers i may not pull these things with, but a lot of teachers know it is just a joke and know what I'm like so i can do these things, I've never really been one to treat them like a respective member of authority haha

When I first meet a teacher I will treat them with pseudo-respect, meaning I will not treat them ether way, I wont be a dick, but I wont be perticuarly nice, I wait for them to show me what they deserve. If they are horrid for npo reason, or is a general dick, then I'll be a dick back, if they are decent people, I'll be cool witht them.
I will say, I'm like that with everyone, not just teachers, I don't treat them any differantly, why would I? They are just normal people. Just because it's there job it impart knowlege doesn't mean I treat them differantly.

I'm usually pretty respectful to them
In recent times, it's been closer to a peer level than a student-teacher level, because I haven't actually had a teacher in close to five years, and I have worked/might work with them again
It's pretty freaking weird to have a teacher turn into a coworker. Lol.
But I was always kind of a teacher's pet in school. Yeah XD

Depends on the teacher. I'm respectful, always; I tend to be quieter, listen to what they say, etc. Once I get to know a teacher, I'm still respectful, but definitely a lot friendlier and more casual.

Op, I don't really understamd what I just read but ok.
I'm respectful towards teachers who want me to be, I'm not respectful to teachers who sho no respect towards their students.

I be as small as possible in class and try my best to not participate over the absolute minimum required for me to pass the class.

I mostly act respectful. I'm friendlier with the ones I like and unfriendlier with the ones I don't. Sometimes I refuse to cooperate. That's about it.

I'm pretty respectful with them, but I'm more personable with some depending on the teacher.
My photo teacher I'm getting a bit more personable with - not my first choice when it comes to talking about my life drama, but I ask her about her weekend and stuff. She's also new and a *lot* different than last years photo teacher (who was practically a companion to me), so I don't really respect her as much as I did with my previous. But she's growing on me.
I'm very chill with my english teacher, Mrs. Menache. I respect her a lot.
My relationship with my econ teacher, Mr. Kinyanjui is strictly professional. I only talk to him about Economics and what's going on in the class, but never really chat with him about outside topics. I think he's really chill though - just not the teacher I say hi to.
The teacher I TA for, Ms. Pomilia is very close to me; she's basically my mentor and my go-to teacher whenever I'm having a bad day and need to vent to an adult. I love her! :D
And finally, my Marine Bio teacher, Mrs. Schworetzky. I wouldn't say it's a strictly professional relationship, but she doesn't really interact a whole lot with her students on a personal level.

I talkbto them the same way as anyone else. They really just dont care what i do as long as i keep my grades up. In geometry, which is a really rigerous course at my school, i just take a nap in the back of the classroom while the teacher talks about somthing i already know.

My first perspective is friendly and respectful and in most cases it stays that way.
They are very good at the subject they are educated to teach us. The way I see it, it must mean that they respect us. So I have no problem respecting them. They are my hope to be educated well.
I guess if you cant respect your teachers. Its not the teachers problem. You may have an authority issue. Get over it and pay attention in school. Doesnt hurt....

Homeschooled and public school, I've always been the teachers pet. I usually follow the rules and do my work. I think of school as a big priority

With respect. If they are a more lient teacher and cool and down to earth, then me and some of the other classmates would be more open with them. Most of the time the teacher is very stern and to the point so we show up, do our work and try to follow their rules. One of my teacher gives the class a pop quiz if someone is caught texting. It has happened once so far. So yeah, some teachers can be jerks so just be respectful. However, if they are the rare kind of teacher that is more chill, we can say what we want.

It depends on the teacher. Some are more friendly and almost act as if they want to be a friend more than an authority figure, others are more old fashioned and don't like to be sober back to or sarcasm. It's fair to say that I get quite a few detentions, sometimes for talking back to the teachers. Most of them get on really well with me and know that Im the joker of the class and like to have a laugh. I've been there and done the whole 'if they disrespect me, then I'll disrespect them' thing and only ended up suspended for a week. At the end of the day they have a job to teach us, they're in charge and we should respect them same as we would a police officer for example.

Teachers like everyone else should be treated with respect unless they are totally dismissive of your ideas and are close minded

I try to treat them with respect. I try to treat all people with respect. they deserve to be respected. I could get into serious trouble with my coach if I didn't, but I would regardless. the only exception is when the teacher is very rude to the students. then I may get snarky in return
