So Transgender* MtF means a guy who would rather be a girl right? I don't want to falsely advertise myself.

Yes. Male to Female would mean someone who was designated male at birth but identifies as female, and vice versa.

A transgender woman is a person who was assigned male at birth, but identifies themselves as a female. Just because she was born with boy parts does not mean she isn't a woman and it's also just not some "boy who would rather be a girl".

It is usually a term used for people who are starting to, or already in the process of transitioning their gender identity. But yes, you are correct and that would be the term you would use.

I'm using it because yes, I identify as a girl, and I rather be a girl. Also, I will In the future transition, so I'm using transgender currently. :3
