So I was thinking, and I wondered if anyone has a song that they would eventually want to have as their wedding song or the first dance song at the wedding reception. What would your ideal song be?

For me, the song Never Seen Anything Quite Like You by The Script seemed perfect. That is until I heard these lines of the chorus:
"I'm blessed as a man to have seen you in white
But I've never seen anything quite like you tonight"
I love this song, and it feels perfect for like a wedding, except for those lines. I almost want to rewrite those phrases and try to contact the band to pay them to rerecord it to what would make sense as a wedding song. What do you guys think?

I don't want to get married, so I'll use the "our song" thing to pick a song for this thread.
There was a song that made me think og my GF when we where still going out, so as far as I was concerned it was "our song", she didn't even know about the song but it made me think of her so it was close enought for me.

I'm personally not super for having songs for people. I don't like tarnishing music with bad memories if things go sour. Plus it's always been way too mushy in my opinion...

But in the event that I do get married, I'll probably have All My Life by KCI & JoJo play.

On a slightly unrelated note, I was really into this song freshman year. I actually covered it. Good song.
