I've recently opened up to a teacher and my parents about my self-harm. I'm going to get the help I need, but it doesn't stop my parents from stressing out over what I'm doing to myself, and I honestly can't blame them. Dad specifically has no clue on what to do and he feels like he can't leave the house without feeling worried constantly, and he's asked me what in God's name he should do. I just have no clue how to answer that question. At all.
So... what should he do? Anything that could help him?

He should be there for you when you need someone to be with or speak to. That's basically the first thing he should do. Reassure him that that's all you need from him :)

Maybe when you start getting help - you can share more and be able to answer that one.
I hope so,
